Day 51 in Copemhagen

Hello everyone,
I'am Carole Mghayar from Lebanon Middle East. I'm 24 and I have recently traveled to Denmark as an exchange student. I will be staying in Denmark for 4 month. I came to Denmark the 15/8/2017. I will be staying till 31st of December. Almost 2 month has passed but today I have decided to share my diary with. I will post a lot of my pictures later during my stay, but for now it is day 51 for me in Copenhagen so I will talk a little bit about my day : ) Today I woke up a little early had my tea, wrote some thoughts and went to ucc college ( it is where I study in Copenhagen University Capital Copenhagen). I'm pursuing my teaching education here in Denmark and so far I have the best times. ( I will share everything I experienced so far later in another post). Thursdays I have a course called Didactic of Dialogue and reconciliation. This course basically help us learn more about Dialogue in theory and in practice. We learn how to solve conflicts using dialogue especially between students. We have to teach students importance of dialogue and as teachers we should use Dialogue as a method to solve conflicts and compromise. Our class started at 12:45 Pm. Today's class was interesting because it was all practice. We had 2 amazing girls called Dialogue Ambassadors ( Anna and Clara ) and they taught us how to experience dialogue with our body. We were in circle and the girls would give us a statement .We had to agree or disagree with the statement. ( statements were like : Abortion should be illegal, freedom of expression should be limited.) There was a line in front of us. The begining of the line says agree and the end of the line says disagree. If we agree we stand in front of the line and vice versa. After each statement we would discuss in pairs why we agree or disagree. At the end of the course we realized how much it hard to agree sometimes with another person. We concluded that Dialogue is the best way we could communicate our thoughts in a respectful and decent way. it is not important that the other person agree with us. We can both still have our opinion and still discuss it in a decent way. we don't always have to look for agreement. The class ended at 4 and then I went back home where I live in Copenhagen with 8 other girls. I live in Hedehusene. I had fresh cooked salmon for lunch, did some grocery shopping and then went up to my room to rest. I also have decided to post one picture for each day I'm here in Copenhagen. So I will do that :) !!

Thank you all.
I'm looking forward to meeting my audience !
Hope to read your comments

I wrote a little something today :
I Don't Care
you talk a lot, you scream , you shout
I don't understand what you are talking about
you want me to do things your way
Guess what?!! I don't really Care
It is my life I'm free
Don't try to control me

If others find you weird and try to stay away from you , don't change , hold on to who you are and stay truthful to yourself .
follow your principals and remember : you can't please everyone
