The Interview

Well, the first steps towards adulthood were a flop. I knew something was going to go very wrong the second I heard my possible-soon-to-be manager's voice on the phone. No joke, he has the nicest voice I've heard in a while and it doesn't help that Mr. Manager is extremely attractive.
Was I a stuttering mess? Yes, yes I was. It wasn't as bad as it could've been. I managed to stop being a dipshit and get some words out. Your girl even managed to answer with some things Mr. Manager liked and sparked a conversation or two. I'm not a total loss. I will prevail!
To be honest, even if I don't get this job, I have a while to go before I really need one. Maybe I could apply for somewhere else. There are a bunch of fast food places I could work at and still not stray too far from home. Getting this job would be the coolest thing ever, though.
Mr. Manager said he was probably going to call me later today and let me know whether I got it or not. He even said that if I don't make it this time, there's a possibility of me getting it in the future. One thing that was really worrying me was my age. Yes, the legal working age in Washington is 14 years and I meet that requirement, but still. There are a lot of limitations on what I can do and how long I can work. I'm not going to get hired if I'm unable to work for long periods of time.
