Jay really enjoyed when she pet him. He saw it as a sign that she liked him back, though it was not. Amy called him "her Jay". He is, has always been, and will always be "her boy". She went back upstairs and knocked on Ms. Melli's door.
"Oh, hi Amy," she kindly greeted her. "First I need you to file these papers," she handed her a thick stack of tests.
Amy nodded and opened her filing cabinets. Since she had already filed papers for Ms. Melli, and had an incredible memory as well as fast hand reflexes, she remembered most of the order of the last names and got this task done in no time.
"Thank you so much, dear. You can go help someone else, I have everything ready," she said with a smile. So our little Amelia went to help another teacher. The bell rang, she went to her first few classes, and all was pretty mellow for a day like Valentine's Day.
