Microstory : PASS IT ON.

The little girl stood looking at the walls of high security from the outside. They were impenetrable. She could see that. Clutching her teddy bear closer, she felt the headless asp in her left hand writhe with weakening strength and felt its warm blood trickle over her young, innocent hand. Her large eyes scanned the walls one more time. Then she let it go.
Drawing her arm back she lunged forward and hurled the dying asp towards the walls. A shrieking, splintering sound resounded off the echoes of eternity and a bloody millenia groaned in agony. The sound of smashed complacency ensued as the asp flew through the hole like a bullet.
"Aah!!" Screamed a person next to the wall at her work station, "I don't want this!!" She used her ruler to loop the tiny and terrifying asp onto, then hurled it into the air. The dying asp bled a furious stream of blood as it flew through the air and landed on the floor by the highest in command. He gaped at it, as it pooled blood that smelled of the stench of blinding secrecy. Grabbing a forensics bag he pounced on it and secured it writhing and shrieking still. With a strong-armed lobby, he hurled it through the air to the other side of the room.
"You have this fucker!" He screamed, "I don't want it on my conscience!!" The two mortal men dressed up as angels, on the far side of the world, caught the black asp in the crook of their hearts and crushed it to death. It's blood spilt out across the aeons of time in words. Words arranged in a hellish sequence of silenced evil and secrecy appeared as a strange and curious language of pure hatred. Nothing about this statement appeared God-like, true or good. Who would believe the depth of this evil? Who would put this evil into practice? They would, that much they knew. Looking over to the hole in the wall they saw her clutching at a teddy bear with bright and innocent eyes, that were full of trust and unquestionable fear beyond anything they had ever seen in their careers.
"We will find them little one. And when we do, we will avenge your terror and wipe them off the face of the earth. Believe in God still," their noble souls answered. She climbed through the gap and lay down and fell asleep at their feet. Fear dreamt and bled away inside of her as a thing of the past.
