Little Baby.

I've been thinking off and on throughout my busy day today of my little baby grandson. He's so cute and has beautiful smiles. He can laugh too! So gorgeous. I miss giving him cuddles and kissies and carrying him around in my arms. My arms feel empty...

I went up to the local book exchange this morning and purchased the first two of six books in The Maximum Ride series by the very eloquently, versatile author - James Patterson. I sent a text message to the granddaughter to let her know I've got the first two for her. Hope that she is pleased. Fang & Angel.
The book merchant is allowing me to pay for the rest over a fortnight. I'm so pleased. If doesn't rain it pours. This series doesn't turn up that often and I won't be re-trading them. They're for keeps.

Decided to do my daily entry early tonight - 18:56 p.m. as I write.
Went to the local cafe for a small meal while I was out then came straight back home. It was lightly raining and breezy walking back, but getting out of the bach was a good feeling. Wide open spaces and lovely gardens to look at. Saw another identical dog sign : "ANY REMAINS OF TRESSPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED." (Must be a popular one.)

All afternoon it's been a flurry of housework. Put a major dent in the volume of it, which was very satisfying and rewarding. Deck swept. (This job takes a while.) Kitchen floor swept clean. Kitchen rug cleaned too. (Another long & fussy job.) A quarter of the laundry done. This takes the longest because I handwash it all. Hurt my wrist doing the laundry though...There is a washing machine, however, it uses too much water for my liking. I'm economising on water resources so it's less money for my landlord to pay for the water rates per year. Plus I have an obssession about using less natural resources. Doing my part to help take care of our planet earth.

Pretty hungry now. Going to make a stir-fry vegetable medley with warm buttered toast and cooled boiled water.
Shopping day tomorrow. Have to lug a large rubbish bag of clothes to a local second-hand charity store. They were given to me and I can't use them, so I'm giving them away to The Salvation Army family store. There's cute little elves Christmas slippers in the bag. Hope a little child likes them. :-)

Need to eat now. Massages, prayers then bed. G'nite all.
