A Synopsis of my Life

This very day I started my new journal of creativity. I will be writing about my creative activity, namely, poetry, prose and science.
So, I would like to make a record of some events, which have already happened to me not long ago. In 2015, I have published my very first book of poetry in English, "I'd Like to Stop the Earth...". It is worth noting, however, that this book is not very strong from the artistic point of view. Nevertheless, some readers, including professional littérateurs and linguists find it interesting and say its level is rather high.
I must confess, though, that I do not write a lot simply because I am afraid to become famous as an untalented author. The way a creator must work with poetry and prose, resembles the work of a jeweler. The plot of a poem or a story is a precious stone which should be worked with carefully so that a final work of art could shine like a faceted gem. That is how I strive to work with poetry and prose.
At the moment, I am writing a second book of poetry, which is not finished yet. The most problematic of all the parts of this book is an Islāmic sequence of poems. Writing about Islām nowadays requires much attention and responsibility not only because of the great contentions in the modern Islāmic world, but also because a Muslim spirit is a great mystery to me. Nevertheless, I am trying to do my best to comprehend the spiritual peculiarities of this great religion.
This morning, I have visited a mosque named "Ramadan" with my Muslim colleague. This magnificent place of worship has a superb interior: elaborate lamps with gold yellow decoration, the two prayer-halls, for men and for women, with beautiful and soft red carpets; the dome of the mosque is painted with all names of Allāh, and this is executed on a high artistic level. I really enjoyed being there.
I talked with the Hazrat (Teacher) named Ramzuddin Niyazov (Kyrgyz: Рамзиддин Ниязов). I showed him a verbatim Russian translation of my Islāmic poems, and he said they were excellent, except for some theological inaccuracies, but we have corrected them successfully. He is an extremely intelligent and polite man from Nizhny Tagil, but he is of a Kyrgyz ancestry.
