Things I've Noticed Here Plus Springtime In New Zealand.

Wow! I'm really enjoying the new features on this website.
ā˜… Updated draft.
ā˜… Clear and delete draft.
ā˜… Faster, smoother running website.

Very thankful and grateful for improvement. It's all significant. Big or small ; small or big. The thing I love about the new draft feature is that there is a surefire back-up and I haven't lost an entry since.
Well done my-diary.org.

I've been a long term friend with my male friend's mother who is nearing her mid-seventies AND doesn't look it. She just woke me up with a phone call after a couple of hours sleeptime. Dropped off to sleep properly just before eight am and at ten-thirty I am awake and taking phone calls. No matter ; not that tired really. I'll try to nap another hour after this.

P. is 74, a former hair stylist and she keeps herself beautiful with some of the latest hair trends that appeal to her. Not to mention, a good diet and living an alcohol free lifestyle.
In New Zealand at the moment it's fashionable to colour the top or outer layer of your hair in contrast to the under-layers. So P. has a silvered blonde under-layer, with a strawberry blonde outer-layer and baby pink highlights. Another hair effect that is popular is companion colour shading. At the ends of the hair length is a deep contrast colour and as your eye moves up the person's hair length it has several more contrasting colours gradated together. E.g. Black @ bottom, purple, then orange, then silver or ash blonde with black crown at roots end.
Very colourful and effective.

I wanted to write what P.said about my lung infection. I told her that I had sore aching ribs for two days. Friday/Saturday. "It's walking pneumonia that's what it is Amanda-Jane." Heck she's right. I completely forgot that my granddaughter had it last year and I had it too. "Get to the doctor's now." I'll ring up the doctor's after this.

Doesn't look like I'll get much sleep. Hope I sleep all the way through tonight after another awesome twelve step meeting... ;怋

New Zealand Springtime.

<<<Coldish still>>>
<<<Greyer than blue>>>
<<<Damp and wet>>>

The Awanui trees are rewarding us with gloriously thick vibrant pink blossoms of the most delicate pale shade. These trees have generally been grown in rows and clusters so when I stand under them and look up, I don't see one patch of blue or grey sky. The light enhances the colour density and the spirit of God's glory through nature is simply humbling if not astounding. Beautiful. Simply beautiful.
The thick stands of Chinese Toon are equally as breathtaking in a deeper complimentary pink to the Awanui blossom. Cherry trees, snowball blossoms fruit blossom amazing. Flowers have treated us to an equally impressive display of gorgeousness too.
And the Spring lambs and calves are here. Precious little tykes.
Rain and storms are gentler in our region this year and it's warmer.

I need half an hour's rest then I have a home visit by church members.

No wonder I can't move very fast...walking pnuemonia. Nearly one week later, and a serious chest condition over the weekend, and I finally have my finger on the damn pulse. Bloody hell. Walking pneumonia. I may need hospital again... I'm nervous but thankyou P.
