4 Weeks In

So far, I've had to write two papers. (I think.) No wait three papers! I've had two papers in health and wellness both of which had to be one to one and half pages long.

So far I've worked out at the gym three times.

Yet, I don't think I have any friends.

I still really miss Keith. When he called today and we spent a little less than an hour watching anime, I felt like I was at home. Keith is my home. It's not Rollins. It's not with my parents. Keith is my home. And I really miss him.

I'm not only crying because the love of my life is miles away but because I desperately wished to get away from Milton. I felt and wished and diluted myself into thinking that once I got to Rollins, I would feel just as happy and warm as I did with all my friends in middle school.

So far, it's not terrible. I have several acquaintances. I often run into my neighbor Danielle. She seems very nice. Super friendly. Her voice is raspy and she's mighty quiet.

I keep thinking, maybe I'll make friends by this event and then another even and then another. Seriously, keep thinking that it'll happen some how. So I'll ask people from classes to hang out. Sam, a beautiful blonde girl in both my crime & (in)justice class and my psychology class, keeps blowing me off. I'm not sure if it's on purpose or not.

I did, however, blow her off to study with another girl from class. This other girl her name was Jenna Morgan or something like that. She's a 20-year-old freshman. Which is pretty great.

I've hung out with three girls from RCC outside of class a time or two. They're great and all but for one reason or another we don't click at all. Maybe it's me.

WAIT! Julene Thai from my Health and Wellness class. We're paired for a project from class. She's actually super cool and chill. We click :) Yet that's the only person I seem to click with here. Except maybe her roommate too. I've gotten plenty of numbers programmed in my phone but I don't really have the numbers to say "Hey. I'm SO BORED! You wanna go get lunch?"

In fact I tried that with a girl named Stephanie that's also from my RCC class and she didn't exactly respond. I think she said that she was taking a nap or something. She's partier anyways. I don't think it would've workout. But maybe it would have been fun to go out and party with some friends.

Both of my peer mentors are really big partiers as well. Maybe I would be too if I had a car. They both are able to have their cars on campus because they're not freshman...I guess.

Anyway I'm bored now. I'll write some more later.
