What's Going On?
It feels like a millennium since I've last updated. Life has many unexpecting turns. Sometimes surprises can be awesome, other times not so much... The good news is that senior year is here. In a couple of short months I'm finally going to graduate and start a new chapter in my life! The bad news is the reality check about on how life away from home won't be as easy as living in the Imperial Valley.
It's the second week of school but the workload is obnoxious. Half of my schedule includes AP Courses and I'm taking a class at Imperial Valley College. I've made a risky move since I decided to keep my job. This year I'll be tutoring more kids to save up extra money. I'm excited to return to most of the High School clubs from last year; I'll add one or two more so I'll be able to make a change in our CHS community.
As for my love life, it's hard to see Pablo often but I'll be able to see him four times this week! He's the cherry on top of my hectic schedule but I feel blessed and relaxed every time we're together. He drove to San Diego to see my first cross country race (for the season) and tomorrow he'll be cheering me on too. My grandma is coming to watch to. Two of the most important people in my life are supporting me so I'll try my best. I'm going to wake up at 4AM tomorrow and I'll drive to Pablo's house to see him for a short while before I leave to Sun Beam Lake. Goodnight!
