Open And Closed.

I have sat
in closed therapy
group sessions.
often wondering
why I am here?
I've opened
my heart
and felt like
I was
being eaten alive.
But no
this was not
the case.
I am simply
putting my life
on the line.
Talk therapy,
ice fishing for what?
I ask you?
Another day
of serenity
and peace
and please God
as I understand you.
Let me know peace
amidst the chaos.
And here I am
Amanda-Jane
trying
to make sense
of all this.
