The Sun Is Out.

9:26am on the last day of March today. It's the 31st of the month and I can barely believe that. The years are flying now. I wish they would slow down.

New Zealand is one day ahead of the rest of the world, so it can get a little head-scratching confusing for myself writing my entries some days. Basically I don't think or quibble too much over it.

The sun rises for the first time each day in the world on the beautiful east coast of New Zealand. I think that's right ; haven't got time to research it, it's just what I have learnt from other clever New Zealanders (ah, those in television who do the research for us lazy ones :)

It's another beautiful fine autumn day and shortly I will leave to walk to the next town over. I need my walks more than ever as they keep me well from depression.
There are a certain group of thoughts that also trigger depression as well. There's my life circumstances that can trigger depression. There's the injuries that still remain that can trigger depression. So I have much to be aware of still and keep a watch on things.
There's recovery in my life once again and a gentle self-reminder each day helps tremendously, especially when the above are clamouring for attention and usurpance. --Is there such a word as usurpance? Ah, who cares, I'm using it. It's the small steps of progress that I need to acknowledge. Living an ordinary life often is extraordinary living for some and that includes me.
Some adversity in life takes extraordinary and uncommon courage and I hope that I am becoming one of those people.

Well back to ordinary journalling for this next paragraph.
What's left of the grapes on the vine are turning. They've started to take on a fermented wine fragrance. Not that I'm repelled by the change it just seems like a waste of fruit and I have endeavoured to consume a kilogram and more every day! They just don't seem to get less. Some haven't ripened very well either, even the birds won't eat them. The good news is that the bees have shown up for the past few weeks, so the grape-laden deck is humming with activity : ants, flies, bees and birds.
(And my broom.)

Well it's nearly ten o'clock so I'd best be moving on with my day and whatever it brings me apart from the predictable.

Most of the dogs that move around the streets are not on leashes. There's laws for that and it's also blatant non respect for other pedestrians who don't know their dogs.
Still praying that I will never be attacked by a dog. Seen several wandering dogs without their human owner. Come on people..I'm not ringing up the pound every time I see an unleashed or unattended dog out and about.
