New Statement

FORMER EBAY INSIDER also pointed out to me in a phone call how important it was that our group be viewed as normal, ordinary, mainstream Americans seeking justice against eBay, and that we not appear as merely another "fringe group of disgruntled fanatics". He pointed out that in-fighting and mud-slinging and interpersonal disputes would detract from our message, our purpose, our cause, and would hinder our being taken seriously as a legitimate movement against a very corrupt corporation. That's exactly why ongoing feuds that any members may be having with others OUTSIDE of this group cannot become a main focus of these groups. Can they be mentioned, discussed and alluded to in the groups here, yes, of course. But a main staple of the daily menu here, I think probably not. Longterm members here would probably consider it wise not to become involved in interpersonal disputes either INSIDE OR OUTSIDE of the group if at all possible simply for the sake of the mainstream appearance of the group. If anyone is ever at any time bringing the baggage of external disputes that have happened prior to their joining this group into this group, it would behoove other members to be cautious of becoming involved in such affairs that existed prior to, separate from, and independent of these groups. For this whole movement to work, Former Ebay Insider maintained, FOCUS and UNITY must be maintained.
