Briefing

Back at work, it seems the only time I have the urge to get on here and write is while I’m here at work doing absolutely no work. Can’t complain of course, I am in fact getting paid by the hour to sit here and troll face book for hours, write new entries here, catch up on emails and texts, and of course read useless articles that I wouldn’t read any other time but here at work bored.

So, good news. I went to the DMV this morning and took all three tests, the written test, the traffic signs test and the actual behind the wheel test and *drum roll* passed all three *claps* yay to me! So I walked away $300 more broke (for the reinstatement and multiple order fees) and with my temporary license until the new one arrives in 7 days. YES! This will be my first time legally driving in 6 years, SIX YEARS! I’ve spent more than 6 months total in jail over driving on suspended charges, I’ve spent well over $4,000 on fines and court costs, not to mention suffered being terrified every time I did get behind the wheel knowing I was suspended. So finally, that’s over. No more driving fear, no more distance limitations, no more excuses to not go out far or late. I got my license.

I’m so proud of me. At the beginning of this year I set out some goals I wanted to accomplish and I have honestly completed them all.
1. Pay off college debt $921.00 (DONE!)
2. Enroll in summer classes (DONE!)
3. Get license (DONE!)
4. Raise credit score by paying off debts (DONE!)
5. Get kids in daycare (DONE! They start Monday)

So, I’m extremely happy. Now I’m going to create a new list of “to dos” and start on them as well. I know people have their own to do’s in their head but it seems I get mine done so much faster when I see it on paper so after this, I’m going to type it up and print it out, next to go on my wall in my bedroom.
1. Join a gym or attend gym once a week for 2 hours
2. Lose 20 pounds
3. Save $1200 for down payment on new car
4. Save $2000 to replace mom’s account money *side eyes*
5. Get tubal surgery

Yes, the kids start daycare on Monday and I’m so excited. I finally will get to have some alone ME time and the fact that I am legally driving now makes it all the better, I will use one daycare day and dedicate it to going to the gym, an hopefully the other days will be spent working and getting more money but that’s still in the process of becoming. I only got approved for subsidized daycare until the last day of July which isn’t long, but it is more ME time than ive had since they have been born, it’ll give me time to make some more money and cross more things off my “to do” list! Oh, and it’ll get me through some of the summer school break since when school lets out I’m sure my 6 year old being home every day all day will drive me mad. Oh and yes, the tubal surgery is a new addition to my “to do” list but I finally made the decision to do so. I’m no good at remembering pills everyday, and I smoke which carries lots of risks with pills. I’ve tried the IUD implant and it came out, literally fell out one day. I tried the depo shot and it made me stay on my cycle every single day for 3 weeks up until the week before needing the shot again. So I decided on getting my tubes tied. Now, I’m adding it to my “to do” list because it’s going to require some research. Most doctors I’ve talked to wont do the surgery due to my age and not being married. As if I’m going to find a man to marry and want to have MORE kids making him baby daddy #3, yeah right. No thanks. I’m 23 years old and have 3 children. I’ve been pregnant 5 different times, 1 abortion and 1 miscarriage. I am not in a committed relationship and don’t plan to be, I am in college and will graduate to begin my career in 4 years and do not wish to start over with an infant during the midst of all that so, tubal please *smile face*. We’ll see how that works out though.

Most of my upcoming goals are money related since over the last 6 months I have spent so much and used so much and not to mention borrowed so much from other people to help out with my license situation, it’s time to start giving and paying back. I’ve used almost $3,000 out of my moms saving account (which I’m not proud of at all), I’ve managed to rack up $5,000 in credit card purchases and I owe my older brother about $700. So, money money money is the main goal right now. I definitely need to start with my moms saving account before that gets noticed. How all this money will come? I am looking for a second job now, and I also have a side hustle that I’m getting ready to begin being serious about. I don’t have the time to explain what it is now but I’ll save that explanation for tomorrow while I’m here at work doing nothing again lol.

Now I’m sure I should be updating everyone on what went on last week with my last post, but again... I may wait until tomorrow to get into that. Plus I haven’t exactly got out of the anger stage just yet so re-visiting everything may be a little iffy to do right now. Till tomorrow *smile*
