Too much internet, too few books

I have come to the realization that I spend way too much time on the internet (Okay, I realized this years ago, but we're all guilty, right?) Whatever I do, it is in addition to my phone. I don't watch TV or movies, I space in and out of the TV show or movie and surf the net. I don't clean the kitchen, I do the dishes, surf the net, wipe the counters, surf the net, mop and then spend the much needed time afterwords on the net. It's pretty disgusting, actually.

Then I noticed something else. I haven't read a book in completion since the last time that we couldn't afford internet data.. a year ago! My reading now consists of: US Weekly, stupid "lists" (Such as "10 Celebrities you Never Knew Were Texan" or "12 Foods You're Eating Wrong) and poorly written internet articles (that I actually skim just so I can read the string of comments that are written even more poorly). I have decided that I am going to read more BOOKS.

Any suggestions?
