I love the rain

Sometimes my parents tell me about the time we lived in Mexico as a family. There, the storms are pretty hectic. Heavy rain & thunder--don't expect to get much sleep. I don't recall much about the rain there because I moved to the United States at the age of 4... or 5? I don't remember. I've been living in this state for the majority of my life... It hardly rains or snows here. But you know what? 96 degree weather here throughout the spring & summer! Usually in June or July, the weather will go up to 107 degrees. The lowest we experience is maybe 60 degrees. Anything below that is utter hell for those in my state.

Since it doesn't snow or rain, I've come to fall in love with the idea of those two. I would love to make a snow angel, or build a snowman & give it a carrot as its nose. I'd love to be able to have a snowball fight & build a snow fort... but I can't. The snow that falls on the mountains isn't sufficient enough-- plus, going to the mountains is a rarity.

Rain... Ah.

I LOVE rain. I love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love rain!

I love the smell that comes after it rains. I love the feeling of water droplets runnimg down my face. (except if I'm wearing glasses on that particular day. It's annoying as hell when I have to wipe the water off) People here are so used to it not raining, so we don't know how to drive properly in the rainy days. And when it rains, it RAINS. Streets flood & so many accidents happen.

Rain has always been something that I associate positively with.

I have so many great memories with Elías in the rain. I tend to giggle when I watch people get splashed with water as someone drives by. The hot chocolate my siblings make to keep warm. The wave of calm that washes over me that's oh so soothing. I just love rain. Rain is the best thing ever. 💕

I was in the car with my mom & my dog when it started to rain. Bella was looking out the window when I felt something land on my arm. (I was taking pictures for snapchat) Then Bella jerked back into my seat. And now it's raining & I feel GREAT.

I want to go home, take a nice, warm shower, & lay in bed to watch CSI: Miami with Guy. That sounds so freaking nice right now. I MIGHT just actually make it happen, if I finish my homework.

I was in a really bad mood but now that's it raining, it's like all my problems have been washed away--they're nonexistent.

I'm happy.

I'm going to enjoy my happiness for as long as it lasts.

I also love Bi Rain. Dayum.

Also;

Trapt - Forget About the Rain

Puddle of Mudd -Blurry

These songs started playing & ahhhh. I feel amazing. I'm loving this afternoon so far.

Edit: I'm home now & my mom bought churros. I haven't taken the shower I thought about, but I'm already in my sweats so maybe I'll just take my shower tomorrow morning. I told Guy to come over, but he's trying to fill his pool with rain... He's pretty smart. I think I'll join him; we have a kiddie pool that's still in its box. IT'S STILL RAINING BUT I CAN'T HEAR IT FROM MY ROOM. Rain makes it easier for me to fall asleep.

Edit: It's not raining anymore. Welp. It was nice while it lasted. See ya in May, rain. :{
