Religion

Yes, I know the complaints about religion.
So much of it is legitimate. It is true that Christ did not die to give us a religion, but to bring us relationship, well put.
Fr. J explained the origin of the word, can't remember the language..but it means something like to tie together, religion means to to us together with God, I like that.
The problem is when it becomes the end and not the means.
And then of course the disappointment, at the least...horror at the worst in people, especially clergy.
Yes, I know the complaints, I have them myself.
People disappoint, even the best of people, but God is worthy, the Word is His, and I will to be tied to Him, even if . . .
People also come through, they love and give and shine His beauty, yes they do.
He uses the peters and Paul's and Mary's , isn't that great?
He makes all things new, He redeems....Awesome God, He reigns.
Double knot .
