Yes, I'm still alive

Yes, even though it's been a few months since I've written in this diary, I am still alive and well. Sorry about my long absence, like I said before, I have a really bad habit of not continuing a diary once I've started.

Well, not too much has happened in the past few months, except I've been sick again, not really a big shocker there. It was nothing major, just a bad UTI, but the doctors said I might have to have IV antibiotics to get rid of it.

Oh yeah, my birthday is coming up! On February the 9th I'll finally be 16 years old. Man, time sure does fly, doesn't it? I'm having a Gothic Sweet 16 dance party, which should be fun. I'm actually gonna be hopefully ordering my dress today, I can't wait! Sadly though, just because I'm turning 16, I still won't be able to drive. My mom says I can't drive until I get more independent. Oh well, I'm sure I'll be able to drive soon enough.

I also have some other sad news. My favorite cousin, Jessica had just found out she was pregnant with a baby boy not too long ago. But sadly, she went to get an ultrasound and the doctors told her the baby had no heartbeat. She was five months pregnant and they didn't know why this had happened. It was like her stomach was growing but the baby wasn't. He only weighed about 9 ounces. She was gonna name him Braxton. It's sad how little innocent babies like my unborn cousin, Braxton died. Why this happens, I guess we'll never know. Jessica's doing okay I guess. She's living in Wyoming now with her boyfriend and his kids, but hopefully they'll be moving back down here soon. I miss her. We use to spend so much time together when we were younger. She says she's not really planning on having another baby, but if it happens, it happens. I feel sorry for her. She would've made a great mom. I even consider her my second mom.

Well, I can't really think of anything else to say, except for this: R.I.P. baby Braxton. You're in a better place now and you'll be dearly missed!
