Snowynter Poem <3

Now before I go to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
I just wish that you were there,
Knowing how much you really cared,
All the time I need your arms,
around my neck as we watch dawn.
I’d fall asleep so silently,
you’d only hear the wind and trees,

And if I die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take,
But I want to see just one last time,
your eyes as they shine like silver dimes,
With tears waiting to be released,
And sadness and loneliness will be your grief,
But if I die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take,
so I’ll let you know it’s not the end,
We’ll be with each other - together again.

My love is endless just for you,
for some reason I know you’ll make it through,
so if I died before I wake,
Take me in your arms…for my Lord’s sake.

And remember when I’m dead and gone,
That I’ll be following everywhere you go.
And please don’t cry for too long now,
The little angel behind you…told me so. (:
