Confessions of a married woman

Weekends were made to temporary reset your life.

*sigh* I had an awesome weekend! It's nice to forget about the problems we have for just a few hours and I did just that.

On Friday I didn't do anything special just made dinner for A and I and rented Toy Story 3 on Blu Ray, it was such a sad movie! *tear* We had dinner in front of the TV and it was nice to be home on a Friday night. On Saturday my friend M and I had already planned for this Saturday about a month and a half ago. We went to the Freestyle Festival which was super fun. She met up with some friends and we just had a great time, we danced our asses off. With everyone. We were dancing with other girls, couples, you name it. LOL It was fun to see how the girl's boyfriends were all excited to see their girlfriend being "touched" by other girls...haha just every man's dream I'm sure. We had a blast, made some new friends and it was just poppin'! While catching some fresh air in the patio, M met some guy that was very nice, and I was talking to her friend Z and her husband, they were both very nice. They made an odd couple but you could tell they had a great relationship... soon after, we all hit the dance floor again. We were getting down and blended in with this other group...there was this really cute guy dancing with M and I... he was so fun and energized, that he passed the energy to us! lol... anyway while dancing he tells me "that's my mom", I turn looking for his mom... and I am like, "where? Which one" he points to her and I was like "OMG shut up!?!" he said, "yep see what happens when you take care of yourself" I told him, "so then you must be like 21" he confirmed! He was so gorgeous, about 6'2, slim, nice big nose, a beautiful smile, and gorgeous green with black rim eyes and mile long lashes. We danced for the rest of the night. He was a gentleman and very polite. It was so hot in that place though that I thought I was going to pass out, so I told him I needed air... so I was making my way to the patio and so was he. My friend M was already there, so we were just chit chatting with this boy and he said that he thought that Z was M's mom... I was laughing. I said no, they are the same age. He asked how old they were, and I told him 38, he said that's my mom's age. Wow! I said how old do you think I am? He said... "24 or 25" I was so excited! hahaha... anyway.. the night was coming to an end, this song came up that he said he loved and he wanted to dance so he took me to the dance floor again, it was just that song and another one when it was closing time. He gave me his number and asked me to call him so that M and I could hang out with his "circle". Will I call him? Probably not, I'm shy and even though we became "friend's" it is a bit awkard having a boy frien that young, I think... right? We'll see. I guess I can always text him and just say hi.

Yesterday, A didn't go to work since he is on call for Jury duty and his employer changed his days off. So we hung out of course, we got up late and then he asked me if I wanted to go to the laundrymart to do our laundry, so that we could get it over with all at once, I said sure I'll go, I didn't know he was going to go with me, but he did. WE loaded up the car with the soap, downey, bleach, dryer sheets, clothing, hangers the whole 9 yards... and off we went around the corner to the laundrymart, we loaded up 4 small washers and one big one for my comforter. While we were waiting on the washers to finish we went to have lunch, we had a good time. We went home put the clothes away, put the comforter to dry outside. We took a shower and I got ready to go to my mom's house as her mother in law was going to cook and I got invited. I left A by himself at home while I was visiting with my family, it was good day too. I went back home a few hours after and we watched the movie "KNOWING" which was awesome! Geesh makes you wonder. after that we watched half of the movie "COMING TO AMERICA" lol that movie always makes me laugh.

So yea I had a great weekend. And now it's time to hit the mill again. Thankfully it is a short week! Yay!!!!
