The Grandpapa

Today my grandpapa turns 92. I have to call him later today,
it'll be an awkward 4 minute phone call. If it even lasts
that long. I have my doubts. I'll try to be as cordial as
possible with my step-grandmother. I haven't tried calling
in 2 months, not since the day I called and got an earful
from them about all the bs with the gulag, oh well right.
Oddly, I don't have much to say on it, other than, I'll feel
bad for the rest of the day, I kind of felt bad today too,
that whole ominous death march feeling. I shouldn't feel
this way, but I do.
