On vacation this week and next. Hoping to get some work
done on the house and knowing I don't have the funds to do
it. It's frustrating to have to decide which bill to skip
each month. Even more frustrating to not be able to save
the money needed for home repairs. Sometimes I think a
primal scream would help, if only for a short time.
Sometimes I feel like chucking it all and boarding up the
house and moving into a $100 a week hotel room. Economic
factors should not frustrate hard working people like
this. Especially in, supposedly, the most advanced society
on earth. Will humans ever move beyond economics as the #1
motivating factor for everything in the world? It troubles
me that we can have the resources to fix problems and we
don't because no one will pay for it. That's hogwash to
me. People starve in one place while crops rot in storage
at another. Violence on some level seems to be the answer
to everything. Co-worker piss you off? Knife their tires.
Neighbor piss you off? Call in a bogus annonymous tip
about their drug dealings. It's ridiculous frankly. This
environment is breeding haters. Haters on every level.
When will it end? What will be the catastrophic event that
opens peoples eyes? Will I see it my lifetime? I hope so.
