I spent the end of my weekend at the Santa Monica pier. & it was beautiful.

Have you ever read the kid story, "The Giving Tree"..?
There's a little boy, & there's this tree, that just loves
the lil boy to death. So the tree offers everything he has
& is- to make this boy happy. So the boy takes up on the
offer~ & one by one, as this kid is growing up, he strips
this Tree of everything that it was. One by one, he takes
the leaves, branches,.. & eventually the trunk. ..& all
that remains of this loving tree, is it's stump.

At times i feel like i'm this giving tree. & people in this
world, just want to take the Life out of anything they can.
