dancing with jesus...

So I watch Pulp Fiction monthly, ironically, more than I go
to church, and for whatever reason, it occurs to me. I
wonder what Uma Thurman was thinking when she had to dance
with John Travolta?

Who was it more intimidating for? John, who was known for
his dancing but hasn't danced in two decades? Or Uma,
knowing John could, at some point in time, dance his fucking
ass off, and now she had to be partnered with him?

So they dance, and it's nice and slow. Comedic almost.
Impressive none-the-less. And this is where I start to
wonder. Did Uma really appreciate dancing with John
Travolta? I mean, you're talking Grease singing, Midnight
Cowboy John fucking Travolta. He's a king of dance.

It's like having the opportunity to set down and talk
philosophy with Socrates, or religion with Jesus, or even
politics with Locke.
