234th Entry- 3-14-07

It was pretty warm today...got up to near 80! Too soon for
that. But the temps will be going back down starting
tomorrow, which is good.

My exercise bike got fixed today and it works great now!
Tomorrow is the big day...I start back on my weight loss
and exercise program. I have a couple months before my bro
gets here for his visit and I want to get some of the
weight off by then. Ron and I arent going out for
breakfast tomorrow, which will help. Today I ate most of
the junk I had around so I am not tempted. Its going to be
tough going cold turked on the white carbs but I have to
do it. We are supposed to go out to dinner with his son
and DIL on Friday so I will have to be extra careful what
I order.

I love my new car more every time I drive it. It
accelerates like a dream! Not like the van where I didnt
DARE try to pass anyone. I stopped over to the office
where I was working to drop off the set of keys I had and
to give the guys a loaf of banana/pumpkin bread. My ex's
gf was there alone so we talked for a bit. She loved the
car too...said she was jealous :) I also found out she has
NO intention of EVER marrying my ex, despite his frequent
proposals. She said she would be in IDIOT if she did. I
cant as I blame her, LOL! She even told me she will keep
him around as a lover and friend but thats it and if she
wants to date someone else there isnt a DAMN thing he can
do about it. I was kinda shocked when I heard that. I
almost feel sorry for my ex. She says he wants to marry
everyone too fast. I said, yeah..everyone but ME, ha,ha!
But she has everything going for her....a house thats paid
for, 2 cars, large retirement fund and she doesnt owe
anyone ANYTHING....every man's dream girl :) And, if she
lives and gets her new boobs (sometime in June) she will
be ready to step out. I wish her only the best.

Birthday party was pretty nice. His GD got a lot of stuff.
And my sweater was a hit. I got a request for more of the
crocheted lace edged socks...seems the ones I made are
falling apart. So I bought some higher quality socks and
will make some more over the coming months. Oh, we found
out Ron's other DIL is expecting...this will be the third.
I know they are all hoping for a boy but we'll see. I told
her I will make something special for the baby.

Oh, I got that doll I ordered. I decided to wait and see
if they would send it and they did. She is pretty...I have
her sitting on a chair in the corner but I may buy
something special to put her in...a doll cradle or maybe a
doll chair. And the other doll I ordered from E=Bay had
its head off and the eyelashes falling off too. I thought
the woman repaired the head but I guess I misunderstood. I
e-mailed a doll hospital nearby and they want SIXTY FIVE
dollars to fix her. Thats ridiculous! I only paid 18 with
the shipping. I think I can find someone to do it cheaper.
If not, I may have to have a go at it myself. So in the
meantime, she is sitting on a box across the room from me.

I stopped over to see my mother the other day to visit and
to see the Extreme Makeover house they were building up
the street...that was neat to see. I took a pic of it..you
can see it at. www.complinks.biz/extrememakeover.htm. Its
finished now...the family came back today. I'll stop over
next week and take another pic and post it. The show is
going to be aired on May 6th.

I sat down last night and tried to remember how to knit.
I bought myself a pair of knitting needles and figured I
might relearn. Well I remembered how to cast on, but I
cant figure out how to knit. I looked up how to knit
online but even with the instructions I coudnt do it, so I
gave up....I will stick with crocheting. I promised my D I
would make things for her to sell at the charity flea
market they are having next month...she wants HER team to
win the competition (most money made). Last year her table
came in second. I think they can do better THIS year. I
will give her most stuff and better stuff to sell.

Its going to rain tomorrow. I will spend the day
exercising, crocheting and cooking. I have to do laundry,
too...sigh....
