Life, Or Something Like It

Why Doesn't My Phone Work?

It's 0908, Friday. 1039am. No change in weather.

I got a phone call today. Well, more like a voice mail
message. It was absolute bliss, even if it were short and
the message relayed to me indicated that they would not have
much or any time to talk later today. I did not expect it,
actually, and it was heavenly to receive. I received it
during the beginning of my class, and I was in much bliss
for the rest of the hour of my class.

I am not sure why, but my phone does not ring whenever I am
in the buildings. Perhaps it has something to do with
intereference being emitted from the buildings themselves.
Or maybe the machines housed within the buildings. The
basement of the Science building houses mulitple large
machines used for the different sciences. I believe for the
biology department, there is/was a kind of spectographic
sequencer for organic matter. From what I understand, you
put some kind of live organism within the machine, and it
"blows up" the organism to be sequenced. If that's not all,
the machine spins the decomposing remains in a manner
similar to a centrifuge, so that the matter is properly
sequenced.

In retrospect, I wonder what PETA would do if they knew such
machines existed. I mean, it's not like the machine is used
to analyze large organic matter. Like, you know, squirrels.
I don't believe they are used for such animals. However,
they are used for smaller, microscopic organism.

At anyrate, I shall end this here. I am talking to someone
with AIM.
