Day's end!

5/12/2006 4:11 PM
I’d planned to go to the Post Office, return a couple of
items to “Le Gourmet Chef” and Home Depot. I never got out
of the house, I called Kathy to get Joshua’s address,
seemed to have misplaced it; she hadn’t gotten back to me
before I called our Son and asked myself. Spoke to a new
friend this morning; she lives in Kentucky, smart young
lady.
I was also planning to go to the store for some food stuffs
and pay a bill, that’s not going to happen until tomorrow,
it’s been raining all day and I’ve been busy writing and
doing music. I’ve got a cd for Pretty and I’m doing a few
for Joshua, he wants me to get music from Ra’s first album
and some Gil-Scott Heron; so I’ll be working on that (off &
on) for the rest of the day.
Made pasta with clams, broccoli and an Alfredo sauce, I’m
drinking a bit of the Shiraz, it can grow on you and it’s
potent as hell; I only poured about 4oz.
I watched “The Promise”, again, there are no subtitles and
even though I couldn’t understand a word; I watched the
entire movie. The choreography was fluidly breathtaking,
the cinematography vibrant and the locations had me wanting
to go to China to see them for myself. I saw undisturbed
lands that seemed to go on forever? Imagine landscapes
that may have remained untouched by humans and animals
alike, waterfalls that seem to speak and mountains that
swallow the sky. Picture seas of clouds you could imagine
yourself swimming in. The sets were inspired detailing of
an era, the lighting crisp and the sound effects didn’t
seem to be recreations, all the behind-the-scene players
transcended their craft.
Hell, I may watch the movie so often I’ll learn Chinese!
I’ve received a notice to undergo an independent medical
exam, a month from today; I guess the insurance company
doesn’t believe I’ll be released for work on Monday,
neither do I.
I just called the facility housing my Mother, I told them
to expect me around 9am on Sunday, I gave them my phone
number and I’ll call again tomorrow. I streamlined my files.
I’m also compiling a letter to the GM of the dealership I
bought my car from, I want him to know that we won’t ever
do business again and why, coming from a small fish in a
big pond isn’t the point. I’m not ranting at the man,
keeping it simple and to the point, I may even get a
response; we’ll see.
