my ugly sweater

I have an ugly sweater. it is not the kind that is old and
ratty - and that's why I love it. It's new and ugly. But
it's warm and cozy.
I love the way it feels on my skin, and I just can't bear
to part with it.
It's so ugly that sometimes when I walk down the hallwaly
and people look at me, I know they must be thinking "what
an ugly sweater".

I have an ugly sweater. I don't think we will ever part.
