Some minutes are harder than others
I think this is my 100th post! w00t!
I watched the two saddest episodes of any TV show ever
last night. Friggin Buffy, making me cry all night like a
friggin baby. It was the episode where Buffy's mum dies,
it was some of the best acting I've ever seen. I heard
that Joss Whedon won Emmys for "Hush" and "Once More With
Feeling". While they are both fantastic episodes, I have
no idea how he wouldn't have won one for that episode.
It relly got me thinking about mortality and some of the
shitty things I'm going to have to face one day.
Thankfully, I haven't lost many close family members, and
the few that I have lost, while being pretty close to
them, being in a different state made it all seem like it
wasn't really happening. One of these days I'll be facing
the more frightening prospect of actually having to go
through all that sort of stuff. I have no idea how I'm
going to react, but if watching those Buffy episodes last
night is any indication, I'm going to be a blubbering mess.
