We both open our eyes together.
Together we smile at each other.
Together we hide our nudity with clothes.
Together we eat and sip tea.
Together we part to our work.
Loud explosions explode throughout the land.
A continue wailing of sirens.
Bodies sit, lie and die in the gutters.
Emptiness slowly saturates my soul.
Home welcomes me with emptiness.
I know we are now both alone.
I close the door to my life.
