The Personification of Mankind's Existance

It seems to me that man's short lived time on this earth is
nearing it's expiration date. Let's take the last one-
hundred years for example. From 1900 to sometime after the
Second World War, men were hard working, rugged, and tough
as nails. Ideally, like a youthful man. Then from 1960 to
1990, it seemed as if mankind was facing new and
frightening ideals. Equal rights, cold wars, and the
coming of age. Much like a middle aged man would face
change, we, as men, went through our mid-life crisis. Then
as the dawn of a new century approached, it brought with it
modern conveniences. Our work schedules have softened.
You rarely hear of steel workers, coal miners, factory
workers, rustlers, and the like. Men of that era died long
ago. On average, we, as men, probably do about 3 laborious
hours of work a day. Here I am, as military police,
writing in a fucking electronic journal. We seemed to have
hit our golden years, dining on our modern conveniences.
This brings me to conclude that man's end is near.
