I saw flying socks....

hmmm, friday. ....I'm drawing a blank. Maybe I'm just
worn out from how busy this week has been. I've been out
flat since I got back from fall conference, and today is
the first day I haven't had anything major to work on. I
feel like I should be doing something...it's sort of like
when you're playing a video game and someone comes in and
either takes the controler away or turns of the TV....you
just sort of sit there in shock like..."uhhhhh...what!??"
and if you've been playing long enough you might even sit
there moving your fingers for a while like you are
actually using the controler. That's how I feel right
now...sort of like someone just stole something out of my
hands, that were previously so busy, and now I don't know
what to do with them.
I get paid today, that's cool. Yay money...I shall
take the check and watch it just disintigrate in my
hands..a little here to the phone bill, a little here to
the electricity bill, a little here to groceries...how
about some gas? we need that too... Man...that reminds
me of analytical class yesterday. Solouki was talking
about Gibbs free energy and how it depends on enthalpy and
entropy...well we defined entropy as "the amount of
disorder in the molecule" and he said that all things tend
towards disorder. The more disordered it is, the more
spontaneous the reaction. And he gave the example of
socks, how when you clean them they are all neat and
orderly, but by the end of the week they are everywhere
because it's hard to keep them all in one place when
you're so busy, it's just EASIER to let them go where-
ever, and I just could not get the image of sitting on my
bed watching socks just fly out of the dresser out of my
mind. He said disorder was spontaneous...and he mentioned
socks...I'm sorry, I have a vivid imagination and tend to
picture things in my head alot. I saw flying socks, and
it was funny. :-p
I am going home this weekend. Actually, I guess I
can't really call it home, can I? I mean...I technically
don't live there anymore. My mom even wanted me to fill
out a change of address form so she wouldn't keep getting
my mail, and like, practially all my stuff is at the
appartment. I only moved to the appartment for
school,...I swear she's trying to get rid of me. lol. But
at the same time she gets upset when I don't call her.
Crazy mother. She gave my room to my little sister too.
My older sister had an appartment last year while she was
at school and SHE didn't loose her room or her address!
lol. I don't know what my mom is going to do when I
graduate and come waltzing home. *shakes head* crazy
woman. Anyways, I'll be going to my parents house this
weekend to do some laundry, visit my family, maybe some
old friends and aquaintences, and visit my cat.
Yeah...that's another issue...my mom wants me to take my
cat to the appartment. ONly thing is my roommate and I
might be moving in to a larger appartment later, and the
land lady requires a non-refundable $100 deposit to have a
cat. Sorry, I love my cat, but $100 dollars is just not
something I can simply throw away right now. Especially
if we decide to move to the other appartment! How
pointless would that be to pay 100 dollars, non-
refundable, to have my cat there for a month or two max?
yeah...not to sensible. Anyways, I am looking forward to
going "home" this weekend, and it's also what they
call "fall break" here, which is really only a few days
off, but it's nice because I'll have some time to sleep
and catch up on things I should have been doing before. :-p
I have class in half an hour...I wonder what I should
do...hmm. Ok well, I'm gonna end this. It's getting
rediculously long and no one will want to read it. Not
that it's all that interesting anyways, but yeah. I'm
gonna stop babbling now. :-p Take care and God bless!
