DAILY FEATURES:
DINNER: Herbed roast chicken, new potatoes with butter,
parsley and chives, corn on the cob, fresh green beans,
sliced cucumbers and tomatoes and white wine eaten on the
deck with peach torte/vanilla ice cream and coffee for dessert
IN JOHN'S LUNCH BOX: Leftover spaghetti; a slice of banana
cake; a banana and a plum; two containers of iced tea and a
thermos of coffee
QUILTING: Piecing Kaffe Fasset's On Point quilt
GRATEFUL FOR: Fresh peaches
READING: Lost Lake by Phillip Margolin
WEATHER: Clear and warm with highs in the low 90s
SCHEDULE FOR TOMORROW: Trip into Eugene; John takes the day
off so he'll have a four day week-end
