yesterday night i went to Provence to return the uniform and
locker key that i have been using for the past 3 months.
joyce and i bought a bouquet of flowers and a tissue pouch
for konno-san, and an olive milano for makoto. i will never
forget the look on her face as she received the gifts. it's
so heartwarming. it's like sitting near a fireplace during
winter. it's simply unforgettable.
finally i said my goodbye to provence. a satisfying goodbye
albeit sad. 3 months of working in a bakery. have fallen in
love with breads. 2 weeks plus of getting to know those
Japanese boys and being introduced to jap culture. being
humbled. i will miss those bus 95 trips, trying to be on
time each time i worked. i will miss walking along those
pathways that led me to the bus stop in front of the holland
village market.
it has been the most rewarding experience so far. and i
thank the Lord for giving me the chance to work there.
i'm missing it already.
