Theology

There is a huge discussion on what theology and religious
language over at a http://www.coffeehour.org .
For the most part, I think the discussion misses the point
of our faith.

It's my belief that theology is determined and written by
the individual adherent to our faith. Neither our church,
nor the Unitarian Universalist Association should attempt
to define what we believe and what our theology is or ought
to be.

It is our jobs , as individuals, to determine what our
theology is; it is our local congregations job to provide
an environment to freely and lovingly search for that
truth, and it is the UUA痴 job to help our local
congregation.
