Me and Poops McGee

I'm done with my week with Poops McGee. Poops McGee is the
nickname I've given to my dog, Mya. I'm not completely sure
how I came up with it. Poops came from the fact that she
tortures me with her poop and I guess McGee came because
McGee sounds cool. I do tend to call my dog strange things.
When we first got her, I campaigned to name her "Kitty",
but none of my family members really liked the idea. I'm
sure Poops felt attention deprived. I tend to not pay
enough attention to Poops. Thats not to say I forget to
walk her or feed her, but with 3 girls that constantly play
with her, when they go away and I dont want to play with
her, she's sort of out of luck. But its getting better.
She used to be afraid of me and now she'll come up and beg
for my attention and occasionally I'll give it to her. But
I'm glad that my family is home so I dont have to deal with
Poops McGee.

R.I.P. Game Crazy. You were a good store. A great
alternative to Gamestop, especially considering you were
better at keeping games from older systems in stock, not to
mention you were cheaper half the time. I am sad to see you
go.

Lets see....the past week....Monday I had patriotism stuffed
down my throat. I have become quite cynical of the system.
Between the state govenment shutdown, the war, the
president, some of the shit I've heard congressmen
discussing and seen them pulling, I'm just sick of it. Not
to mention the fact that every day we are bombarded with
messages of "support your country" "support your troops"
"We're gonna get the terrorists" "Remember 9/11" "The war
was the right thing to do" and all of the rest of the pro
Bush propoganda. To me, it feels as if this constant
barrage of propaganda really waters down the Fourth. It
just made me come away from the day with a bad taste in my
mouth. That, and the fact that another small twig was added
to the affirmation of my theory that Kate hates me. Tuesday
was boring. Wednesday, Poops McGee became Liquid Poops
McGee in the morning and in the evening I went and played
Hero Quest with a bunch of friends of mine. It is a poor
substitute for D&D, but it was fun anyways and I got to hang
out with friends. I also learned that I have no idea where
my Star Wars DVDs are. I leant them to one of my friends,
and he said he gave them to my brother when he dropped them
off. The problem is that I dont have a brother. That
probably means that he dropped it off at the wrong house. I
just need to figure out WHICH house he dropped it off
at.....Thursday I started playing Star Ocean. I bought Star
Ocean (despite the fact that my roommate has a copy) at Game
Crazy before it closed because it was dirt cheap. Gameplay
is good. Voice acting sucks monkey nuts. In game
cinematics are rather poor. Prerendered cinematics are
usual Square-Enix quality. Story is somewhat predictable.
It has what has to be the sappiest subplot I have ever seen
in a video game. Friday and Saturday I did yardwork and
played Star Ocean. Oh, and I grilled bratwurst today. I
could have done a better job, but it was my first time so
I'll forgive myself. I ate it and I'm not sick so they must
have been fully cooked and they tasted decent overall so I'm
going to call it a success.

G'night
