The Next Day

So it's now 6:31 and where do you think I am? In the
lobby. Only because I couldn't sleep. For some reason
the bed after awhile was making my back hurt really bad,
in fact it still hurts a little right now, and it's been
about a half hour since I came out here. Probably take
some Advil after breakfast.

Well, today is the super big Trinity Blood event. Oh my
God, this is going to kick cosplay ass today. Well, at
least I hope this is going to kick cosplay ass today.
J'aime costume is phenomenal and I'm very proud of how
Queen Esther came out.

Last night, amongst the lull in the entertainment, I
finished putting all the roses on the collar and on the
front silver part of the bodice. Everything looks really
pretty. Later on today once I put it on (hopefully before
we go and sit in one room for two hours to wait for
Craftsmanship judging) I'll take some pictures of it. I
know I'll be taking pictures of J'aime dress. Oh, her
costume is so beautiful. All the gold trim really makes
it ornate.

So today is going to just like any other Saturday at an
anime convention, very long, but very fun.

Yesterday went well. We had quite a few compliments on
Kate Scott and Sister Esther. I think a few Japanese
girls recognized us instantly and took our pictures.
Well, a lot of people are talking about Trinity Blood now
that the anime is out.

See, what did I tell you! Didn't I say that the poser
would start coming out, first in small trickles, then in
droves. But you know something, J'aime and I will be the
first to have our names plasters.

Oh and guess what happened yesterday, on our way outside
to take a few photos? We were stopped by some people who
wanted to know what we were cosplaying as and J'aime and I
said we were from Trinity Blood. So this guy was all
like, "Oh God, it begins. That show just came out didn't
it?"

So I chimed in and said, "Yeah, the show just came out,
but I've been into it since 2003, back when it was a
novel, sound drama, and a manga." I see he didn't have
anything snarky to say after that. Asshole. Trying to
insenuate that I, the great and all powerful (and
apparently delusional) Aa-chan was one of these sorry ass
poser kids. I was insulted, but I fixed him good.

Besides, dude, our nun habits are totally different then
the ones on the anime. In the anime, the habits are
rather short and have no silver studs or anything on them
and the ones with the silver studs are the ones we wore.

Oh! If I've said it once, I've said it a million times;
damn (poser) kids make me sick to my ass.

Oh well, it's now a little after seven. J'aime's already
showered and dressed. I guess I should go back to the
room and get showered up too. Oooh I think I'll actually
shave my wooly legs now.

Woo-hoo: Wai the main cosplay event is today! This is
going to be good.

Barf: My back is killing me. Now I understand what
Goldilocks meant when she said, "this bed is too soft."
