No big deal

The day started out rough, we had to reprint a book, Kenny
was very upset; he acts as though the company belongs to
him or as if he’s been adopted. Kenny would love for John
to adopt him and he wants to be in a position of real
power, even though he wouldn’t know how to handle it. We
got through the day, Kenny calmed down eventually, his
wheels arrived today. I went to the apartment @ 4:30 today,
there were no supplies there to get the job started, the
punch list was even non-existent; Chuck left a ladder. I
got started anyway, I chipped loose paint, removed caulk
from the tub, sprayed the stove with oven cleaner, swept
the kitchen (in lieu of mopping) and made a punch list of
my own. I was on the premises for close to two hours. I
returned home, then went for Louisa, before heading out I
called my Sister; she told me that she was just thinking
about me.
Louisa didn’t come out of Dialysis until 9pm, she saw me
and told me that she’d been thinking of me also, I wasn’t
surprised in either case, it happens to me often. I pulled
her to me and hugged her, she seemed responsive and we
could have stayed in each other’s embrace had we been
elsewhere. We went to the car, I needed to stop at the
store, then I took her home. We began talking in the car,
her son was home. My knee didn’t bother me tonight and we
stayed in the car for a while, we talked about my Sons,
Louisa believing that I should try harder to have a civil
relationship with their Mother. We talked about the last
time I worked out (Martial Arts), I told her that the
Martial Arts are incorporated into everything I do. Like
Kathy, she thinks I talk tough without the ability to back
it up. I underestimate no one and I back down from no one.
I don’t go looking for trouble and it seldom seeks me. We
talked for almost two hours, then I left, she called me and
asked me to pick up some food for her and her Son; I did
and brought it back to them. Neither of them could drive
and she spoils the boy, overcompensating still, that’s a
monster she may have to deal with someday.
Kenny’s bringing me his palm sander, I’ll return to the
apartment on Wednesday.
