Antichrist Rising

[ March 26th, 2005 ]

I don't know how many times I've found myself explaining to
people what a Satanist really is. First of all, these
stupid ass little kids and high school drop-outs running
around wearing black clothes, inverted crosses, and
painting their faces while they sit in their rooms smoking
pot and worshipping the Christian Satan are not Satanists.
They are nothing more than dabblers.

First of all one who worships the Christian Satan as an
entity can only be called a Christian, for they have
accepted the belief of their God and the context of that
philosophical model, but decide to worship the "bad guy" in
that example. Therefore, they can only be defined as
Christians with attitude, and a heresy of the "good side"
of that Christian model. They are charlatans.

Satanists, such as myself, do not believe in an external
deity. That is to say, we do not believe in a heaven or a
Hell either. We're Atheists, we Satanists, Atheists who
follow a doctrine and philosophical model. Any "Satanist"
who does worship an external deity as a supernormal and
supernatural entity cannot be called a "Satanist", yet he
is a pseudo-Satanist, a fake, a counterfeit, and a fraud.
There is only one correct model of Satanism to follow, and
that is the philosophy set by Dr. Anton Szandor LaVey in
the book of the Satanic Bible, in 1969. He is the founder
of the Church of Satan, which was created in 1966. It was
the first above-ground, state recognized, and officially
chartered Satanic religion and organization in recorded
history. Nobody has the right to debate the authenticity of
the phrase "real Satanist".

We Satanists are our own deities. And that is to say in a
logical, conscious, and reasonable way. And it is not a
dangerous way, for we do not fall into the trappings of
thinking we are supreme "supernatural Gods". When Anton
LaVey was alive, he was often asked the question "What do
you think about Satan?" He would reply in the way any true
Satanist would. I will tell you what I think about that
Christian Satan "guy".

I can see Satan as a quasi-anthropomorphic being; in a way
not as feasible as Christians and theologians would like to
think. Rather I see him as an image, a fresco, a painting,
and a picturesque, that is to say symbology. And in
reference to myself with that being I can see myself as a
frame and superstructure around that image. Satan to me is
something I acknowledge and feel in a carnally and
enlightened degree of cognition and self-consciousness,
subconsciousness, and a personal way of pragmatism. I see
the Christian Satan as a part of my alter ego, self-esteem,
ego, and superego as well as many other things. Through my
eternal being and becoming that the word itself, Satan,
summons is an aeon, another world. And with this aeon new
enlightenment and self-awareness, a link to the real
embodiment of Satan, nature, becomes part of me. Thus, I
see the Christian Satan as a role model to follow, and
something I recognize and acknowledge as being myself, an
exteriorized sense of being that I've always had, that was
awakened by his symbology of anomaly, rebellion, carnal
desire, and intellectual stratification. Thus Satan is me,
because I have summoned the word of his aeon. Thus, Xeperu
Xeper Xepera, I have come into Being, and by the process of
my coming into Being, my coming into Being has been
established. Satan is me, my own daemon, and my own
philosophical model to worship and follow, thus I am my own
God, a Dark God. Satan is not to be an external daemon or
deity to follow. And that, is who I worship, myself. End of
this journal entry.
