yeah

Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah.... as much as this song
has been overplayed, i still thoroughly enjoy it. The
reason could possibly be because I danced with a hottie
but who knows... and yet he has no idea luckily ;)

Anyway, I will be singing karaoke tomorrow night and let
me tell you it is not going to happen without a little
alcohol in the system.

Today we finally made plans for spring break, yes but
better late than never. We are planning on going to the
Cayman Islands in the Carribean for a nice break. It will
suck that I have 2 big midterms when I come back but oh
well. You only live life once and to me, spending time
with the loves of my life are far more important than any
time I could waste studying. Yes, studying is going to
get me the grades that will hopefully land me a job that
is not $10k a year. However, I must reiterate that in
life, it is so much more important to be happy, enjoy
life, and have fun than to waste it. Education and
learning is time not wasted, however, a fine line must be
balanced. If you are not having fun doing these things
than you are doing it for the wrong reasons. You only
live life once. Regrets are unfortunate but you cannot
dwell on those things, they are in the past and what has
happened in the past has happened for a reason.
Everything that has happened to me has happened for a
reason, so I've learned to just accept it and move on. It
it's not meant to be, it will always find a way. I could
not be more grateful for what I have been blessed with. I
have the most amazing friends and family and I would not
trade it for the world. Yes, everyone has their problems
but we all help each other out and move on.

Recently I have been reconnecting with childhood playmates
and god, the time has passed. It seems like nothing has
changed and I know those people would still do anything
for me, regardless that we have grown up and changed over
time. Those are the people who stick because they have
been there with you throughout everything. On another
note, I have not said anything about my fabulous roommate
Laura in any detail. I have mentioned her before but I
feel she deserves an actual statement in here since she...
well, dominates every aspect of my life. I honestly have
not met anyone more generous and kind than her or her
family, especially where they come from. Most of you may
not realize but Laur and I have absolutely parallel lives
and it's quite the scenario. Some may say they are
coincidences, but I honestly feel that only so many things
can be classified as a coincidence before it just gets
weird, or maybe even steps into the category of fate.
Soulmates.... I don't really have a perspective on this.
I think they exist but I also think that there are a few
people out there for everyone, even if you think you love
someone, someone out there will sweep you off your feet
when you least expect it. There is definately not just
one person for someone though and we all need to keep that
in mind. Well I cannot put this in any other way that is
non-homosexual but Laur has done this for me. She has
made me realize that in order to get more from people you
have to give as well... a give-take relationship. She has
taught me so many things along the way and I really do
appreciate it. Sometimes we have to learn the hard way,
but I feel like no one else would have made me invest
everything and show me how life really is. I know a lot
of people do not understand but she really is my other
half... there is no other way to explain it... except....
great.
