Cheering for the Blue Sox

I was walking home yesterday. I started walking down the
hill, the temperature was warm, the air was still, and there
was a fair amount of snow just leisurely floating down from
the heavens. And, for a moment on the walk, I felt like
life was good.

I caught Kate as she was walking out the door. She was once
again off to Amanda's, stating that I wasnt invited because
"she didnt want a lot of people over". Frankly, its gotten
to the point where I'm neither suprised nor broken up about
it anymore. Actually, it turned out to be a good thing this
time. I returned home, only disappointed because that meant
I was going to spend another night home alone (well, with
Bob, but he usually keeps to himself). I sat down at home
at watched Hook because it was on TV. Bob joined me. We
watched and about halfway through the movie, Donavon comes
back, who was being followed by Will, who was carrying a
fencing foil and claiming that Donavon needed protection.
Donavon picked something up and told us that they were going
to watch Cowboy Bebop in Gay and then left to pull some
capers or something. I finished Hook, checked my e-mail,
determined that I was bored and was determined to not spend
the night alone in The Sauce so I bundled up and went to Gay
to find friends and activities. I found people just hanging
out and I decided that was good enough for me. We talked
for a while and then Will arrived with food and we watched
the last 16 episodes of Cowboy Bebop, having watched the
first 10 episodes last weekend. My wanting to watch more
Anime this year is coming true. We finished at about 6:30,
at which point I went home and went to bed and slept until 2.

We rearranged our room today. It wasnt a big rearrangement,
but it opened the room up a hell of alot. I moved my bed
against the wall, and now we have a large, open area in the
middle of the room. We think that the open area will
attract girls who want to throw themselves at us. Next
weekend we are thinking of moving my desk into the corner to
open it up even more. Then if we get a futon and a rug
(which ties the room together nicely) in here, it will be so
incredibly rocking.

G'night
