Friendly Challenge

This last week has definately been a journey of collar coaster
porportions. As of last Tuesday I have lost 9lbs. That is almost
exact what I lost last month alone. I think being sick and not
excercising is what slowed my weight loss down alot. I am
comming up on my 3rd month, and they say you hit a plateau at
that time. But March is when I will be joining Curves, so I hope that
I hit my plateau sooner than normal and really loose the weight in
March.

April 15th is the skydive event in Lake Elsinore, CA with everybody
from WLS Friends. I am excited, and I want to be down at least
75lbs by that time. I have a little over 2 months to loose 22lbs. I
sure hope I can do it!!!

Jan and I are doing a challenge this week. We are challenging
each other to take in all our water, vitamins, protein and excercise.
If the week goes well, we are going to try to continue it through the
month and whomever "looses" has to treat the other to lunch or
dinner. Although I made the joke to treat the other to lunch/dinner
at chuckchansi gold casino where gastric bypass patients get to
eat for free, LOL.

I walked today even though it hurt. I usually walk a full mile in 10
mins. Today I walked a mile in 25 mins. I about died when I seen
how long it took me. I was walking with Owen and he didnt have
his bike, so I think thats what slowed me down a little, and the fact
that I hurt alot today. My back was killing me, and I was having the
stabbing pains in my side again.

Tomorrow I am going to record some of Fit TV's programs. I
figured 1-2 programs per day should get me up and going. Thats
30 mins to 1hr per day. If that doesnt do it, I dont know what will.

I am still having a hard time getting in more than 800 calories. I am
staying steady at around 750 or less right now. But today was
awesome, I got in 124 g of protein!!!!!!!! I was sooo proud of myself.
I went to vitamin shoppe today in Visalia. The manager is willing
to help me out in finding a protein that works for me. He said that
even if the canistar is open, he will refund my money or at least
give me store credit for it, that way I am not wasting my money. But
I bought 3 bottles of IsoPure drink. Its a 20oz bottle, and they come
in different flavors. Each bottle has 40g of protein in them. I had
the Apple Melon one today and it was pretty good.

My order from Vitalady came in, and I have been good in taking my
B12 sublingual vitamins. Tomorrow I am going to try the powder
form of IsoPure, the strawberries n cream one. I am going to mix it
with the remaining of my strawberry ice cream and add in some
strawberry Atkins syrup with milk to make me a strawberry
milkshake. If I had real strawberries, I would add those too. If I can
handle the protein mix, then I will go buy me a canister, and each
serving has 50g protein in it. 1 per day should do me well.

I hope tomorrow will be better in my excercise! I am going to work
hard on it each day. Will post more as time goes on.
