Not stalking an Internet buddy...hehe

Well...last night was exciting to say the least!

I finally discovered where someone I have known for a long
time works, and it just so happens we were going to that
area to catch a movie and dinner, so my friends and I
decided, why not go to East Sides.

To fill in some holes, I have known Chris for almost 6
years, but it's been purely an internet chat friendship.
Altough i know everything about him, and learn more and
more every time we talk, I have never met him face to
face. I do know what he looks like, but last night, after
one of his friends told me which East Sides he worked at,
I wanted to see him in person.

Now, this may be a purely selfish motive, I understand
that, but let's just say the curiosity was killing me. I
have lived in the same city as him for 2 years, and while
we have alluded to meeting in person, it never really
materialized. Oh, and he has also given me his cell phone
number, but I have yet to actually call him.

I know this is probably starting to sound pathetic...bu
bear with me.

So after seeing "In Good Company" with Topher Grace, which
was an alright movie (Topher's a cutie), off to East Sides
we went.

As soon as we walked in, my friend Crystal immediately
asked for a table as close to the kitchen as possible (he
works as a line cook, and at East Sides, the kitchen is
seen by everyone in the restaurant).

As it happens, he WAS working last night, and he looked as
cute as ever. Although my first impression was that he was
too short, in about 5 minutes it didn't even matter
anymore.

It was nice to see him in person, because we connect so
well online. Although, we didn't talk, and for the few
people who keep asking me why not, I don't really know. I
kind of liked the fact that I was soo anonymous. Although,
he saw me, I know he did. He looked in m direction, gave
this face, and almost tripped over the bread bin.

Anyways, I'm going to Algonquin on Tuesday, so we'll see
what happens. He said he has class until 6, and 6 is when
I plan to arrive. I'm wondering if I should take the
plunge and ask him out for coffee....nahh! :P

Anyways,

As the events continue to unfold, I'll keep you up to
date, but I was cruising the internet today and I came
accross my horoscope which reads something like this:

For the week of January 17th...

The slow pace at which romantic matters move can frustrate
the heck out of you -- you'd like nothing more than to
push things along. But love doesn't always respond well to
being pushed (or pulled, for that matter). At the
beginning of this week, gentle coaxing is much more likely
to achieve the desired result. By Thursday or Friday, some
amazing growth can result from letting things happen
organically (and you may even realize it's more fun this
way). You'll see the full effect of this nice and easy
attitude over the weekend.

For next week....

If you're feeling overly emotional or just worn out on
Monday, give it a little time -- Tuesday and Wednesday
promise some unexpected romantic excitement that'll change
your tune very sweetly. Don't get swept away by it all on
Thursday or Friday, though; whatever's going on now in
your love life deserves a little serious contemplation
before moving forward. Be sure to take the high road this
weekend -- being selfish will only get you somewhere short-
term, while a little charm and giving will do you a
fabulous favor in the long run.

-----------

If tuesday promises to be interesting...we'll see how the
concert goes! :S
