studio day with fasting

Yesterday with its triple ones (1/11) was a settling in
day, taking my time, transporting stuff, answering emails,
doing some backed up correspondence, only in early
afternoon actually getting out to the studio. Stopped by
the gallery and took a few more photos.

On 1/10 had gotten a set of Charlie Chaplin movies.
Yesterday, watched "The Kid" and found myself laughing
with pleasure. BAck to the originals. I wonder if
Shakespeare is something like that: the first to do
something does it more completely and better. When I
raised this at a discussion of a Shakespeare book, someone
else said, well, he was hardly first. And that's true, but
he did invent a genre.

Writing tasks were begun yesterday. The BOL was elaborated
on and the review article outline was begun. It's fun, yet
there's something about that makes me feel trepidation.

Well, my friend says she has an idea on which we'll work
today. Will be good to see her and work on our several
projects.
