casting crowns concert

12/10/04 = best concert so far

there is so much to say about the concert, but in one word
AWESOME

me, jess, jen, and logan set out on our adventure friday
afternoon about 5:30 from jen and jess's house
we quickly got stuck in friday night traffic going to
Greater N.O. and/or the Superdome to see the prep football
finals

6:30 - i was driving my brothers car and right before we
got to Franklin St. the "low coolant" light came on
jess quickly was nervous because she saw smoke coming out
from the hood..and then quickly became happy when she
remembered that you can poor water in the coolant tank...

on the way logan and jess played the license plate game
while me and jen tried to keep them from playing
then jess tried to find all the letters from A-Z on street
signs, which took her all the way up to eating at subway,
josh and katie met us at subway

6:55 - after i ate i ran inside of the Sav-a-center to get
2 gallon containers of water..and called my dad to try to
see what the problem was...me and josh figured otu the
most of it while talking to my dad on my cell phone...and
soon we were ready to go....@ 7:12....the concert started
at 7:00

we quickly drove to the UNO arena and found a parking
spot..then RAN inside to find our seats...7:20

tickets to see Casting Crowns..$40
subway before the concert..$5
water because your vehicle is low on coolant..$3
running into the UNO lake front arena 20 minutes late, in
the middle of Who Am I and sitting in the 2nd row of a
really good concert..priceless

the concert was great..even though we miss alot of casting
crowns..which was our favorite band that we wanted to see

jess danced
we all sang
the bands played on...

great night of music, friends, and worship

...happy...
