how ya doin'

Two days ago I was up in New York City delivering
something to the Marriot Hotel on Broadway street. Its
right across the street where the ball drops on New Years
Eve. Now thats one nice hotel. I didnt get to see to much
of it from where I was but if ya ever get to the big apple
check it out. It was so busy there I ended up pulling two
pallets (1500lbs) a block and a half to deliver them. I
also was in New Brunswick, New Jersey. There is a river
running beside the city that gives it a certain charm that
I took to immediately. Im going to go back there to paint
it this summer. last night I watched "eyes wide shut" on
cinimax again.
Im working on that airbrush - oil painting today. I put
a few ducks in it today. So far I have the ocean with a
large vitage 20's car in it with me sitting in front of it
in the ocean with lots of ducks floating about me. Its
kinda weird but it looks pretty awsome and its alot of fun
to make up as I go along. I airbrushed some waves in last
night.
Has anyone had this happen. I went to clean the airbrush
gun and I dropped the small tip into the sink and it went
down it. That sucks. I almost took apart my sink trap to
look for it then came to my senses. I'll pick up another
one at the store soon.
Just 16 more days until my Caribbean cruise. I cant wait.
I had so much fun last August on my last cruise. I am going
with Royal Caribbean again. Thats a great cruise line and
there staff is awsome. If ya never been on a cruise..heres
a quick lowdown. You get on the ship (im boarding at Cape
Canaveral, Florida)..you hang out on this ship that is a
small city in itself and just have fun and relax...food is
free when its all inclusive (the best way..believe me)..and
get off at the islands it stops at..hang on the islands for
a day then come back to the ship..party in the 11 or so
lounges..gamble in the casino..hang on the pool deck which
is heated and on the top deck outside...or just relax on a
lawn chair and watch the ocean go by...thats a really
condensed version of it. Basically ya just let the real
world and all seriousness melt away for the duration of
your trip. One thing I would like to mention is that one of
the most beautiful sites one could ever imagine is when I
was on the deck of the ship looking out at the sunsets or
sunrises and all I could see was the immense ocean from
left to right. It looked so gigantic there on the deck. Its
a breathtaking site. Im bringing watercolors and pen and
ink on this trip to make some detailed sketches for oils
upon my return.
Today Im off. I think I better get off my ass and out
of my studio and start Christmas shopping before its
Christmas. later..
