shoddy japanese goods

The day after my last entry, as if on cue from either some
deity or possibly the GOP, my PS2 ceased to work. It's the
cherry on top of the election-week sundae.

I can probably get it fixed for just the cost of shipping it
to Sony, but it still pisses me off. The upside of this is
that I might actually get some work done ahead of time, now
that my largest source of entertainment is gone.

Or I might do like I did this weekend and waste just as much
time watching Comedy Central as I would have playing games.
