Life, Or Something Like It

Quick Update

It's 1011, Monday. 1018pm. The calm and comforting
darkness hangs over the night sky, as it is now ... and as
it was over the millenias. A silent, neverwavering ritual
both a combination of the near metaphysical presence of
physics combined with the poetic touch of life and nature.
And then the piercing of the calm with the incessant
barking of the neighbor's dog.

So I can't make this long since I'm planning on studying
for my math exam tomorrow. Which I should have done two
hours ago, but Elle came online and we talked for like ...
2 hours. It was totally worth it. I think things might be
getting back to the way things are, ... which is how I
want them to be, before this whole mistake of telling her
how I really felt about her.

I called Mel this afternoon, but she wasn't home. Her
mother was, and so I asked her mother to tell Mel that I
called and that I "miss" her. Melanie, I mean, not
Melanie's mother.

I squandered some time playing the sims, but that was
alright since I needed some time squander a bit.

I scored an 80 on my math exam from Thursday. Apparently
about half the class scored less than 27 points. I find
that a little hard to believe. But she put the stats up on
the board. She didn't put any names up, but from the way
the scores were distributed, I made top ten. Top ten as in
top ten people, and not like ... top ten percent.

I don't think I wrote much today, and if I did it was
kinda huried. So I'll try to review quickly what
happened ...

Mm, the girl I thought had a thing for me, ... I don't
think she does. Cause I met her finally in the hallway,
but she didn't look at me or anything. I guess she could
just be shy or something.

Although, the guy I was hoping didn't have a thing for me
seemed to talk with me alot more today. Actually, I don't
think he is into other guys. It turns out he is a Computer
Science major just like I am, but he's a lower division.
So, I think we'll get along just fine. We both hate math,
and we both find the same things funny, along with similar
interests. You know ... it's weird but I would have
thought there were more gamers in the computer science
department. But he is like the only like the third one I
fifth one I've found so far. He is a bit incredulous as to
why I don't find console games that interesting, and I'm a
bit incredulous as how he could find console gaming
interesting. So it's going to be cool talking with him
during math class.

Ok the therapist is here so I'll end this now.
