Life, Or Something Like It

Miss Teen USA

It's 522am. Fragmented light spears towards the earth, in
it's non-linear and almost wave-like form. It's morning.

Today had to be the most painful day ever. I had to watch
the Miss Teen USA pageant with the girls. Luckily, we were
switching it off between that and the show, "Amish in the
City". Gotta love that show ...

I suppose any other guy wouldn't mind the chance of
getting to ogle 50 barely legal women prancing around in
their swimsuits. All vying for the position of, "Miss Teen
USA". I suppose it would be a guy's dream come true, if a
girl and her partner in crime made the boyfriend watch a
bunch of attractive teens strut.

For some reason I didn't find it all that attractive. It
must be that ... I know what it is that they're up to.
That is to say, I know that everything they do on the
stage is quite ... fake. I mean, not as in that the people
up there are less genuine or anything. Just, that ... like
when you go on a date and stuff, ... you tend to put your
best foot out first. I mean, ... that's how you impress
the other person. That's how it is at interviews, that's
how it is when you meet that hot chick at the supermarket.

Well, this is not really any different. And because I know
this, the whole thing was more of a let down than
anything. I would like to think that maybe I'm just hard
to fool, ... but I think in this case, it was just pretty
obvious that the girls were being ... "cute" in order to
win.

Not that there is anything wrong with that. It's just hard
to find that attractive knowing that there is an ulterior
motive involved.

Of all the 50 contestants, and also the contestant from
D.C, ... I didn't really find any of them hot. Maybe it's
cause my heart is signed over to Lindsay Lohan. Yes, that
must be it.

Lindsay Lohan ... wow, she's hot.

Well anyway it's a bit late, so I think I'll end this and
get to bed. I just needed to write in here, as my day is
never quite complete without the writing ...
