boiling points is right.. patience pays off

well im pretty tired. my quads and my calves are hurting
pretty bad but i just took some advil so i should be
alright. i have a tournament this weekend with pv and its
called the summer shootout. its actually a lot of fun bc
its just running a couple plays and its pretty laid back,
except tonight we play chico..should get kinda hairy lol.
anyways, yesterday, i sucked. my shoulder was hurting and
i had a stomach ache from who knows what. but still, i
probably could have done better but my mom said i should
be so hard on myself but whatever. ever since the season
ended, i did some training on my own, just shooting drills
and stuff to increase my strength like lifting weights to
train different parts of my body and running 2 miles 4
times a week. well...this mornin i had 12 points in the
2nd game of the tournament..mwahahaha lol it feels so
good. i guess being patient and knowing that if u keep
working at something hard enough and long enough, you will
get better. its also having confidence and believing that
u can do it. ive always struggled with confidence for as
long as i can remember. in the past year ive gotten
confidence in myself as a person, it doesnt matter what
someone thinks of you as long as you are yourself. but in
basketball, sometimes its just a matter of pushing that
out of your mind and telling yourself its possible and
thinking "if she can do it then so can i"

im gonna go rest and then eventually clean some stuff up
in my room...talk to u later!
