shakes appeal

today i decided to take £10 from my Turbonegro fund and go
shopping. i didn't regret it. at first i did but then i
realised i made one of the better choices i've ever made in
my life.
i bought "Raw Power" by Iggy and the Stooges (£7.99 from
HMV = BARGAIN) and it's great!

other cds i was going to buy instead include:
"Turn On The Bright Lights" by Interpol
"Vol. 1" by Black Sabbath (!)
"Vol. 1" by cKy
"Blues For The Red Sun" by Kyuss (my newest favourites)
"The Stooges" by The Stooges
The Ramones Anthology

can someone please tell any of my local music shops to
start selling more than just "Scandinavian Leather" as far
as Turbonegro goes?!? it really pisses me off.
i'd like to get an album by Ween that isn't "Quebec"
because i borrowed that from a friend and i wasn't THAT
impressed by it...
you know who really piss me off?
Led Zeppelin.
is it just me, or are they horribly bad? i think they were
so fucking boring.
but everyone keeps telling me they were "great".
fuck them.
i was trying to listen to "Raw Power" today, but then i
turned on MTV2 and they were showing, in ascending order, a
special on "Old School Punk", then "Josh Homme",
then "Cover Versions"!
*orgasms*
Josh Homme is someone we should all really respect in
music, he's been in some awesome bands (Kyuss, QOTSA, even
Desert Sessions) AND he makes consistently awesome music.
he's just great.
no, i'm not in love with him.
Eddie Izzard was positively manic yesterday night on that
Jonathan Ross show, he was hilarious.
i have another General Studies A-Level on Monday, and then
i don't have any more for ages!
rang up about a job interview today, for some place putting
some crap onto computer - it's only 3 hours a week so
should be a pretty good little earner.
i need to build up the Turbonegro fund again!
i'm going to go to the site right after i finish here.
which is now.
thank you, and good night.
